lemons.

i think this commercial is adorable! i love the lemon's voice and face...it just makes me laugh!

new era.

so i know this really has nothing to do with design...but i think these commercials are so funny! i love john krasinski <3

have a good weekend!

sherwin williams part II.

i posted about the sherwin-williams ads awhile ago, but just the other day I saw this commercial on tv and i actually like it better than the print ads! i especially love the beginning of the commercial with the balloons...just thought this was a good extension to the print ads!

and these are two that i actually hadn't seen on tv...but found while looking for the first ad! also nice, but i think the first is my favorite.

lora lamm.

these are just gorgeous. la rinascente always found the best designers. {remember this post?}

underwater.

i thought these ads were neat! i mean they are pretty simple, but i liked the concept. one thing though, on the website were i found these they labeled them as 'there's more underwater' which is what made me like these, but if you look at the actual ad, it doesn't mention this tag line anywhere. so personally i think that would help with the overall concept...

super bowl.

i suppose there will be a lot of blog entries about the super bowl commercials this week...but i decided i would post my favorites anyway. for the most part i was pretty disappointed...there were a lot of really just plain stupid ones and other that were wayyyy out there hahaha. but these are probably my favorites. what about you? any favs?

bottega veneta.

love love love this ad from bottega veneta!

photo found via sacramento street.

cheestakes.

i saw this billboard on my way home from philly the other night. SO awesome.

denver.

this poster campaign is so beautiful. i love the colors, text, and imagery...my favorite of the series happens to be ski lifts...very clever!

mayhem.

i am not going to lie...i think that these allstate commercials are sooo funny!

glitter.

i saw this ad last night when i was browsing the magazines at b&n...once again i wish i could find a better image of it - but for now this is all i got! i love the colors and ornaments at the top...the text is nothing exciting though.

old spice.

i am pretty sure that most of you have seen this old spice commercial:

too funny! butttttt sesame street decided to make their own version of the commercial which is just as awesome...i love grover!

midtown.

hellllo october!

here is another thing i saw while on the mural tour...in one section where we were walking i saw light banners hanging promoting the midtown village in philadelphia. i always like when neighborhoods do this to help promote their shops and restaurants. i thought the area seemed really nice...plus i really liked their branding!

delicious.

i think that the illustrations in these ads are brilliant! i prefer the wolf as opposed to the shark...but i still think they are both great! the one thing is though is that i think that the copy could have been much stronger to help support these illustrations...but still think these are great!

geschmack ist king.

i saw these ads over on the ads of the world website and i thought they were so interesting to look at! though at first i was confused because i didn't realize that they were in german...hahaha...but my brother who happens to be german translator extraordinaire helped me out with some of the translations...just so you get a sense of what the ads are trying to convey! really like this idea of using words in place of the actual image!

delicious, crisp, finger-licking, flavor explosion!

crispy, golden yellow!

tender, juicy, fresh!

smoothies.

my dad showed me this mcdonalds commercial awhile back, but i had a hard time finding it online - even this version isn't the best, but at least i can actually share it with you! i just really thought that this ad was beautiful and clever and i love the way they used the people...especially when they even used them to create the money sign at the end. very creative!

geek.

hellooooo! sorry it has been so long! i saw these ads the other day over on ads of the world...and they are too funny! really they aren't any amazing design or anything...but they totally get the point across!

love the tag line too! hahaha

m&ms.

okay, okay, i know. summer slacking has gotten the best of me. so i am sorry. i will try to be better about the posting! for today i just thought i would share this commercial that i thought was funny! i haven't tried them yet - but they sound pretty amazing to me!

city farmers.

i saw these ads the other day over on ads of the world...i thought they were pretty clever - the first one is my favorite...and the last one is kinda gross, but it makes the point!

beer.

i just thought these ads were funny!
