i had seen this kind of think awhile back on a wine bottle my parents had and i thought it was a great idea. yesterday i came across this over on lovely package...and while this specific example doesn't make me scream excitement...it was a good way for me to explain. This is what i am talking about:

i think it is soooo clever to have a little strip that rips off from the wine bottle, so you can remember for the future what wines you enjoyed. so i just thought it was a good idea...something they should start putting on all wine bottles!!

mello yello.

when i was at b&n the other night 'browsing' magazines i saw this little article about the redesign of mello yello. these are some of the new designs that they worked on and ultimately picked from. i really like these retro styled cans...especially when the old can looked the way that it did! you will see the can they picked below...but i think of all the ones in the photo above, my favorite is the second can from the right in the top row...and i do like the one they ended up with as well:

i saw these bottles over on the dieline blog...and i just thought the little duck images were really cute...especially the ducks with the little snow hats on! hahaha

coffee stirrers.

this was designed by a student to help promote a radio station at the london jazz festival. the cups are nothing special....but what i love are the coffee stirrers! love the different shapes!

i have always been a fan of the dkny perfume line delicious - it is probably one of my absolute favorites that i own...but i always thought that the bottle design was so great! and thennn i saw that they have a new line called candy apples with even more great package design- i definitely need to see what these smell like!!

i saw this packaging a while ago over on the dieline - i love the simple style and the colors!

i saw this package design for whittard of chelsea the other day on lovely package and i think they are very fun! i like the cutout of the b on the packaging, as well as the way they created the holes for the b! and i of course like the colors! hahaha

i found this package design so beautiful! but i think it is partially because of the way it was photographed. i like how simple the outside is, and then how when it is opened the white of the box really displays the range of colors on the inside! you know that i like things simple! now i have never had a macaroon, so i don't know if i would like them or not...but they seem to be the "thing" right now haha.
